People with hearing impairments or language barriers understand spoken content better – for example when visiting the authorities or the doctor’s surgery – and can therefore participate in everyday life on an equal footing.

Project description
The original plan was to develop an application that converts the spoken word into text. The application would have been data protection compliant and secure, even with sensitive content. However, as similar technology already exists, the project cannot be implemented in this way for funding reasons. Instead, it is now intended as a networking project: through training courses on existing digital solutions, joint development of ideas with those affected and events.
