Municipal institutions have a direct communication channel to the people of Bamberg. They can find the information and services relevant to them quickly and easily. Useful digital offers are available in a bundled form and enrich life and the stay in Bamberg.
The Bamberg app is based on the code of the city app from Soest. However, it is still being further developed and expanded to include the “Here & Now” module, among other things. In addition, selected content will also be displayed on the digital information pillars, the BamBoards.
The app can be used not only as a native app on smartphones, but also as a web app.
A city app integrates various digital services from the city administration and municipal subsidiaries as well as selected smart city applications. This means you no longer have to trawl through different websites and apps to find important information. With the Bamberg app, the people of Bamberg are always up to date.
