People in Bamberg help shape their city together. Associations, initiatives and committed people have a platform through which they can organize themselves and are thus optimally supported in their valuable work. At the same time, people who would like to get involved can quickly and easily find out where they can do so. This creates a lively network within urban society and space for exchange and cooperation.
The application is based on an existing solution, the “wechange” software, adapted to Bamberg’s needs. For now, Bamberg-Miteinander.de is available as a browser application. A native app may be made available at a later date; the need for this is still being evaluated.
The “Bamberg-Miteinander.de” application offers associations, initiatives and voluntary organizations the opportunity to present themselves on a central platform and thus find fellow campaigners. Conversely, interested parties have a contact point where they can quickly and easily search for opportunities to get involved. Bamberg-miteinander contains useful functions for working in associations and initiatives, such as shared calendars, group-internal chats and modules for joint task planning and coordination.
