Our vision for Bamberg

Rooms and materials that are temporarily or permanently unused are made available to others. Cultural workers, volunteers or private individuals can borrow or rent them quickly and easily. The cultural and volunteer scene is strengthened and Bamberg becomes more vibrant and sustainable.

Technology

The Raum+Materiallotse is based on the “LandRäume” web application and is being further developed to meet Bamberg’s needs.

Project description

Registered users can make rooms and materials available via an online platform. This makes it easy for others to search for, find and book them. Contact is made directly via the platform.

Use cases could be:

An association is searching for a room for regular association meetings
An artist books vacant space as a temporary studio and pop-up exhibition
Hobby craftsman borrows special saw from the neighborhood
Landlady finds an interim tenant for her retail space, even at short notice
