People who have questions about digital topics and applications can find support directly in their own neighborhood. They don’t have to come to the city center, but can get advice directly on site. This means that nobody is left out and everyone can benefit from digital possibilities and smart city applications.
The project is not about software development. Instead, the aim is to help people to use smart city solutions.
The project is subject to change and a decision has yet to be made as to whether it can be implemented. The original idea was: The widespread and decentralized district offices are decentralized points of contact for locals. Under the guidance of trained staff, it is possible to do online shopping or get help with a video call with the grandchildren, for example. The use of Smart City applications is also explained. Digital services can thus be used by people who are not familiar with digital devices and services.
